Giving to NPL
How to Support Norwich Public Library
The Norwich Public Library is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Operating funds come from a variety of sources: the town appropriation, the Annual Fund campaign, grants, and investments.
Norwich Public Library Annual Fund
Gifts to the Annual Fund support NPL programs, collections, and new initiatives. These funds are typically used in the year in which they are received. To make your gift even more special, you may dedicate your gift in honor of or in memory of a friend or loved one. You may make your tax-deductible gift online at Network for Good, via Paypal or Venmo (@NorwichPublicVT), or with a check mailed to: Norwich Public Library, PO Box 290, Norwich, VT 05055.

Monthly Giving Program
Instead of making a single gift once a year, you can make an automatic monthly contribution on a credit card – just like you pay for your Netflix subscription or utility bills. Your monthly contribution can be in any amount you choose, but most donors give $10 a month or more. Your monthly support will continue automatically unless you choose to change or cancel it. It’s easy to sign up with Network for Good, and as a monthly donor you will be providing support that funds programs and services at the library year round.
Gifts of Stocks and Securities
Gifts of securities or stocks are quick and meaningful to support the Norwich Public Library while also providing a tax benefit to you. With this contribution, you can also avoid paying capital gains taxes that would have applied had you sold the shares yourself. Click here for transfer instructions.
