Track your reading and participate in reading challenges with Vermont Beanstack, provided by the Vermont Department of Libraries.

NOTE: NPL no longer has its own stand-alone version of Beanstack. You will need to create a new account to participate in Vermont Reading Challenges.

Register for Challenges Online:

1. Go to vermont.beanstack.org
2. Choose “Register an Individual or Family”.
3. Follow the prompts to register yourself and/or any family members.

Register for Challenges with the App:

1. Download the Beanstack Tracker app in your app store.
2. Select “Vermont Public Libraries”
3. Tap “Don’t have an account – sign-up”
4. Choose a username and password
5. Enter your name
6. Follow the prompts to complete registration and add family readers.
