On Display: Flowers and Other Explorations

Flowers and Other Explorations is a collection of photographs by Rich Cohen. For the last several years Rich has been photographing flowers on a light box and creating richly detailed images that are often reminiscent of paintings. In addition to photographing flowers, he has hauled his camera around the world and into the woods surrounding his house.

Rich is a retired software engineer living in Norwich. He started photographing flowers indoors when the weather was too miserable to go outside. When traveling, he takes his SLR even though he is envious of all the people taking pictures on their phones and then putting the phones away in their pockets. But when he gets home and downloads the photos, he’s always happy he took a camera.
